The Good Mythical Morning team needed to redefine their online merch campaigns. We had 20-million loyal subscribers, and wanted to give that fanbase something that had all the vibes, but still make new audiences stop scrolling and say “whoa.” Enter the Mythical Merch Portal campaign. A concept that wasn't just about selling products; it was as much about bringing them into the world of Rhett and Link’s unique brand of humor and adventure.
Accompanying the in-feed and pre-roll motion videos were strategically placed GDN banners and paid social. The success of the initial Mythical Merch Portal work prompted expansion into Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekends. And clients don’t do that without loving it (and knowing it’s working).
